Working from home should not be stressful should it? Well I personally don't think so anyway. Moving to a work from home business should be a lot more fun than working for someone else in a job.
When you are starting a new business it is often very daunting and stressful. There is so much to think about and so much to do yet even though you have all the time in the world there just isn't any left.
The secret to not being stressed is to be organised. Organise your office, organise your computer and organise the way you run your business. One great way to do this is to pile all your paper work from throughout the week into one pile. Then each Friday go through it all and file it. This is what I personally do because I am not one for filing on the spot.
The other option is to do it every day when you get it. This is working on top of the problem and a great way to do about it. Or you could hire a bookkeeper to do it all for you if you are just too busy or just plain lazy!
With things like accounts, it is worth hiring a proper qualified accountant to worry about these things. You do not need to have that strain on you. You need to be concentrating on making business profit not worrying about how to do your accounts. This is really crucial as the time you spend doing your accounts can be really stressful and not worth the hassle.
You should also get a lot of fresh air, there is no point working for yourself if you are stuck in front of a computer screen more than you are away from it.
You need to enjoy working for yourself and it should be stress free. Enjoy.
